Today’s Marking – Third Eye Horizontals
Where: See the handprint below…horizontal lines across the middle section of the thumb.
What: Third eye horizontals are horizontal lines across the middle section of the thumb, which represents the 3rd eye. In this case, the 3rd eye is relevant to the ability to make decisions, to see clearly what needs to be done, to plan ahead, to have discernment.
Master path = You have doubt and uncertainty but practice making decisions and develop those ‘muscles’ to learn how to take the path of least resistance; it’s about how the choice is made, not what is chosen.
Student path = Every choice can feel like a huge, life-scale decision, even little things, causing an internal battle and tug-of-war. Possibilities can be paralyzing, resulting in you asking others to make decisions for you rather than make them yourself.
This isn’t my handprint but I do have one horizontal in my right thumb and two in my left thumb. OMG I get tangled in some decisions, they feel overwhelming! How do I deal with this, on my good days (ha)? I take it one step at a time, create a plan, realize I can’t do it all, do my best to choose the options that will deliver the most effective ROI, and just lean in. I can only do so much, and my clients come first, that is a clear priority for me. Even knowing THAT helps a little!

A PERSONAL NOTE
Yikes the wind! I have missed several days riding already due to wind. When sitting atop a horse, the wind just batters me. Not to mention most horses are not fond of wind, remember they are prey animals, very attuned to their environment. They are very aware of unusual movement and sound, that’s how they determine if a predator is near or charging. Wind makes trees, bushes and tall grass move a lot, so that can make many horses jumpy and nervous.
Scarlett manages pretty well in wind even though she’s not crazy about it. I’m the one who doesn’t like it above 20mph other than the occasional gust. It just beats me up!
