Today’s Marking – Head Line Length

Where: The head line is the second-from-the-top relatively horizontal line across the hand, originating from below the pointer finger and above the thumb. Where it ends determines how much time you spend in your head! And more…

Long: See the print below – stops under or past the pinky (Mercury) finger. People with long head lines are often interested in long conversations if they enjoy the topic. They can have long attention spans, they prefer lots of information to solve problems, and yikes are they in their heads a lot, sometimes getting tangled in analysis and mental processing.

Short: See the print below – stops under the ring (Apollo) finger or before. Generally means short attention span, doesn’t need a lot of information to make decisions and often makes them quickly. These people don’t like details and want the bottom line, so communicate in bullet points to them!

A PERSONAL NOTE

It’s real! On one of the chimney vents atop the building across from mine where I live…a rather large hawk! I heard him first, had to look around to find him. I’ve lived here 5.5 years, I’ve seen them fly by my window over the treetops, but never on top of one of the buildings. I love the sound of a hawk’s scree, it got my attention quickly and it kept calling out, I guess looking for a mate!
